MEGA MIS PLAYS THEIR FIRST MATCH AT HOME IN THE NEW SEASON, BARAĆ: “BORAC WELL-MANAGED AND WELL-TRAINED, WE WILL NEED MAXIMUM ENERGY AND CONCENTRATION”

The Mega MIS basketball team will face Borac Mozzart in the second round of the ABA League at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. The first match for Marko Barać’s team at home in the new season will take place on Friday at 8:00 PM. Admission is free, and tickets can be collected at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall ticket office from 7:00 PM until the start of the match.

The coach of Mega expressed his expectations ahead of the home premiere:

– We have the first match on our home court in the new season. We are facing an opponent that has selected their team very carefully, to the liking of their coaching staff. It’s a very well-managed and well-trained team, and we will need maximum energy and concentration to start the season with a home victory. I invite our audience to support us in this endeavor,

said Barać.

First-team player Nikola Đurišić also commented on the opening loss to Cedevita Olimpija in Ljubljana, as well as the fact that Borac defeated Cibona in the first round as the home team:

– After the unfortunate loss to Cedevita Olimpija, we are facing the Borac team that started the season with a win. We need to approach the game with maximum focus and play defensively with quality and aggression, just like in the second half in Ljubljana. We invite everyone to come to the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall on Friday to support us in large numbers, and we will do our best to repay with good play and a victory on the court,

added Đurišić.

Mega MIS and Borac have clashed six times in the ABA League, with Mega having the upper hand so far, securing four victories. Last season, they were better than the team from Čačak in both encounters.
