TALENTED MEGA MIS PLAYER OGNJEN SRZENTIĆ THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER OF THE SERBIAN U16 NATIONAL TEAM AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The U16 Serbian national team concluded the European Championship in Skopje with a victory over Greece in the seventh-place battle, with a score of 71-60 (15-19, 16-13, 19-12, 21-16). The young basketball player from Mega Bemax, Ognjen Srzentić, recorded a double-double in the last match with 10 points and 13 rebounds (index 25).

Srzentić played in all seven matches and was one of the key players in Miloš Isakov Kovačević’s selection, as evidenced by the fact that he had the highest efficiency index in our team. He averaged 12.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, with an average efficiency index of 15.4 points per game.

Another talented basketball player from Mega Bemax, Ian Lazarevski, left an excellent impression at the continental gathering for Skopje players under 16 years old. He played six matches in the jersey of the Slovenian national team, which concluded the tournament with a loss in the battle for fifth place against Germany, with a score of 52-65.

Lazarevski had an average of 15.3 points, six rebounds, and 5.2 assists in six matches, and with an average efficiency index of 18.5, he was the most valuable player of the Slovenian team and one of the most valuable in the entire tournament in the capital of North Macedonia.
