NEMANJA POPOVIĆ IS THE NEW PLAYER OF MEGA MIS

The young power forward Nemanja Popović (21) is a new basketball player of Mega MIS. He comes from the ranks of Crvena Zvezda, where after notable performances in the youth selections, he joined the first team in 2018.

He then played on loan in Žarkov during the 2018/19 season, then spent one year each in OKK Belgrade and FMP. He signed a three-year contract with the Red and Whites in the summer of 2021 and made his competitive debut for the senior team in September of the same year.

In January 2022, he was loaned to Vojvodina, for which he averaged 10.9 points and 5.9 rebounds during the second part of the 2021/22 season.

With the U16 national team of Serbia, he won a bronze medal at the European Championship in 2017 in Montenegro, and he was also a member of the U17 selection at the World Championship the following summer in Argentina.
