CAPTAIN OF MEGA MIS LUKA CEROVINA CONTINUES CAREER IN FRANCE

The captain of Mega MIS, Luka Cerovina, will continue his career in French first league team Nancy Basket!

Cerovina (23) joined Mega in 2016, where he first played for the cadet team and then for the junior team, with which he won 2nd place in the final tournament of the Junior Euroleague in 2017 and the title in the U19 ABA League in 2018. He played a total of 146 official games for the first team, which is the second most in the club’s history. He debuted for the first team in the Super League in 2018, playing a total of six seasons for the first team with one season (2018/19) on a dual license for OKK Belgrade.

The captain of Mega, who plays in the position of Guard and Forward, did not hide his gratitude towards the club where he spent a total of seven years:

– I would like to thank everyone at Mega for these beautiful seven years, all my coaches, teammates and in general, all the people who are part of this organization. It was a great honor for me to be the captain of this team and these seven years in Mega will remain in my fondest memories,

said Cerovina.

In the ABA League this season, he averaged 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists, while in the Super League he averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. In the recently concluded season with Mega, he reached the quarterfinals of the ABA League playoffs and the semifinals of the Superleague, while he reached the finals of the Radivoj Korac Cup.
