MEGA MIS SIGNED ANDRIJA JELAVIĆ, TIMOTEJ MALOVEC AND STEFAN MILJENOVIĆ FROM OKK BEOGRAD

Basketball Club Mega MIS ended the season 2022/23 in the semifinals of the Super League of Serbia and is already turning to the next one. 

The ranks of the team of Mark Barać will strenghten Andrija Jelavić (2004), Timotej Malovec (2004) and Stefan Miljenovic (2004) who had great season in OKK Beograd, playing the Basketball League of Serbia. 

Jelavić won the Junior Euroleague last season as a member of the Mega MIS team, and was part of the Mega’s youth team that defended the regional throne in the current. He also defended the colors of the senior team of OKK Beograd and was one of the best players in the team of Vule Avdalović, who was fighting in Super League, and then came close to the semifinals after the fight in the group against FMP Soccerbet, Zlatibor and Spartak Subotica.

Talented power forward has recorded 12.7 points and 8.7 rebounds in Serbian League, as well as 18.5 points and 12.3 boards in the Group Stage of Super League.

Like Jelavić, Malovec won the European title with Mega MIS Junior team last season, and was a member of U19 team that claimed U19 ABA League title this term. 

The talented wing reached 7.6 points as a member of OKK Beograd, with 3.5 caught balls in BLS,  while in Super League was on an average of 6.6 points and 3.5 rebounds.

Miljenovic was one of the best players in Avdalović’s team, with an average of 17.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists. He improved his numbers in the battle for placement in the semifinals of the Serbian playoffs, averaging 21.8 points, with 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists against FMP, Zlatibor and Spartak Subotica during the group stage. 

Before joining OKK Beograd, this 22-year-old guard played for Leotar from Trebinje and Slodes, and before all that defended the colors of Slipery Rock University in Pennsylvania.
