U17 MEGA MIS DEFENDED THE TITLE IN TRIGLAV CADET’S LEAGUE OF SERBIA WITH A WIN AGAINST PARTIZAN IN THE FINALS OF F8 TOURNAMENT

After 40 minutes of a great fight, the cadets of Mega MIS celebrated in the final of the F8 tournament of the Triglav Cadet League of Serbia against their peers from Partizan and defended the title, 77:84 (15:27, 15:21, 26:15, 21:20). Petar Radonjic’s team gained 22 extra points in the middle of the third quarter, but then they allowed their rival to come back. After a few minutes of play in the decisive period, Partizan turned it around, but the young basketball players of Mega MIS showed their character, remained calm and regained the lead. They managed to break away and took a 79:71 lead with a little more than two minutes to go, and they kept their advantage until the end and won their fourth title in the cadet age group.

The most effective in the grand final was Ian Lazarevski with 18 points, but the most useful were Ognjen Nikolic with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, as well as Ognjen Srzentic with 11 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds, as both had 22 index rating. Abdramane Siby added 13 points, with 6 rebounds, Luka Solomun had 11, and Petar Milosavcevic had 10 points.

At the ceremony that followed the end of the final match, Srzentic was included in the Best 5 of the League

Third place was won by the Borac Mozzart team, with a 95:74 victory over their peers from Crvena zvezda.
