JUNIORS OF MEGA MIS CONVINCINGLY OVERCAME CEDEVITA OLIMPIJA AND QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL OF THE U19 ABA LEAGUE

Juniors of Mega MIS will defend the title in the U19 ABA League for the second time in a row, as they qualified for the final by defeating Cedevita Olimpija in the semi-final match 115:70 (28:19, 26:21, 26:16, 35:14). Dragoljub Avramović’s team already had a double-digit advantage in the opening quarter. Still, the Ljubljana players put up a good fight in the rest of the first half and prevented Mega from completely breaking away. However, after returning from the break, the advantage of Avramović’s team grew from minute to minute, so it became clear after entering the last 10 minutes that the juniors of Mega MIS would register a convincing victory.

On the way to the final, Nikola Đurišić excelled with 30 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds for a PIR of 36. Timotej Malovec followed him with 21 points, Asim Đulović with 19, and Andrija Jelavić with 16 points. Avramović gave a chance to all available players, and 11 entered the scoring sheet.

The juniors of Mega MIS will fight for the fourth title in the ABA league against the better of the duel between Crvena Zvezda and Igokea. The final is scheduled for Thursday, April 20, at 5:00 p.m.
