U18 MEGA MIS ARE INTO THE FINALS OF THE JUNIOR EUROLEAGUE QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT WITH A VICTORY OVER INSEP

After Venice and Anadolu Efes, the juniors of Mega MIS also defeated Parisian INSEP, and thus with a maximum score, reached the finals of the qualifying ANGT tournament of the Euroleague, where they will fight with Crvena Zvezda for a place in the final tournament, 63:66 (11:15, 16:17, 17:22, 19:12). After a tough first half, Dragoljub Avramović’s team grabbed a 19-point lead in the third quarter, but it wasn’t enough for a peaceful ending. The French were only one point behind entering the last minute, there was a great fight until the last second, and in the end, Mega resisted and registered a triumph.

Filip Jović was the most effective in the winning team with 19 points and also grabbed seven rebounds for an index of 18. Urban Kroflič played excellently and was on the verge of a double-double with 16 points, as well as Bogoljub Marković, who scored up to 12, while Asim Đulović added 10 points.

The Juniors of Mega MIS will fight for a place in the final tournament of the Junior Euroleague in Kaunas against Crvena Zvezda on Sunday from 18:30 in the “Basket City” hall.
