MEGA MIS IS VISITING CIBONA ON SUNDAY, BARAĆ: “QUALITY OPPONENT WHO PLAYS VERY SMARTLY, BUT WE TRAINED WELL, AND I HOPE THAT WE WILL TRANSLATE THAT INTO THE MATCH”

After three straight victories, Mega MIS basketball players will visit Cibona in Zagreb in the 17th round of the ABA League. The meeting in the Dražen Petrović hall is scheduled for Sunday from 12:00 pm, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.

Mega coach Marko Barać pointed out that the game against another quality opponent awaits his team:

– After three consecutive victories against serious teams, another quality opponent awaits us. Well managed, with a lot of attacking talent, a group that plays very smartly and methodically. We trained well, and I hope we translate that into the game. We need the best away game to be in a position to win the match,

Barac said.

Mega’s talented basketball player Nikola Đurišić hopes for another victory:

– We are visiting a very experienced Cibona team, which won our first match. Now we are in a series of good results, we have three straight wins, and we welcome the upcoming duel in a good mood and hope for a new victory that would mean a lot to us,

Đurišić pointed out.

After three consecutive victories, Mega significantly improved its position in the fight for the playoffs and, with a 6-10 score, sits in eighth place in the ABA league standings. Cibona is a step below with the same record but a slightly worse point difference.

These two teams have met 19 times in the regional championship, and Mega has been more successful so far with 11 triumphs, while in Zagreb, they won four times and suffered five defeats.
