MEGA MIS WILL HOST CEDEVITA OLIMPIJA AT THE START OF 2023

Mega MIS rounded off another year with the traditional New Year’s tournament, which took place in a celebratory atmosphere. On the second of January, Mega’s players will fight in the ABA League. They will welcome Cedevita Olimpija in the 13th round of the regional championship, and the match at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall is scheduled for Sunday at 12:00 p.m., with free entry. Free tickets will be available at the Hall of Sports box office from 11:00 a.m. on the day of the match until the start of the game.

Coach Marko Barać is aware that another big challenge awaits his team:

– One of the best attacking teams in the league is coming to visit us. Recently, they have been playing exceptionally well, fast, and with excellent percentages. We have the toughest job possible in stopping their creators, defensive transition, and fighting for rebounds. We have to do everything to put ourselves in a position to win this game,

said Barac.

Oleksandr Kobzistiy played an excellent match against Budućnost in Podgorica last week, so he will try to continue with good games against the Ljubljana team at the start of 2023:

– On Monday, we play against Cedevita Olimpija. It is a very good team with a large number of experienced players. We will have to play hard from the first second to start the new year in the right way,

Kobzistiy pointed out.

Mega MIS welcomes the meeting of the 13th round with a 3-9 performance, while Cedevita Olimpija, with a match less, achieved nine victories and lost only twice. These two teams shared the court six times in the regional championship, and last season Mega registered its only victory when it won in the Sports Hall of Ranko Žeravica with a convincing 104:75.
