MEGA MIS WELCOMES SC DERBY, BARAĆ: “I BELIEVE THAT WE’LL KEEP BUT ALSO RAISE THE LEVEL OF ENERGY FROM THE PREVIOUS ROUND”
Mega MIS will host SC Derby in the sixth round of the ABA league at Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. The meeting is scheduled for Sunday at noon, and the entrance is free. Tickets will be available at the box office of the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall from 11 a.m. on Sunday until the start of the match – free of charge.
Mega’s head coach Marko Barać pointed out that the most important thing is for his team to repeat, but also to raise the level of play from the previous round when they gave a good performance against the leader of the regional championship, Partizan Mozzart Bet.
– We anticipate a very demanding game against a Derby team that is playing well. Their game relies on the American guard duo that controls the rhythm with organization and shooting. I believe we’ll keep but also raise the level of energy and connection from the previous round. In that case, we will have something to hope for from this game,
said Barac.
Malcolm Cazalon adds that the team will do everything to triumph before the international break.
– A game of great importance for us. We need a win to raise our confidence before the next break. We were unlucky in some previous matches, but we continued to work hard in training. We will do everything to carry that to the floor and win the game,
Cazalon pointed out.
Mega MIS will welcome Studentski centar with a score of 0-5. The team from Podgorica grabbed two victories in the championship so far (2-3). Last season, Mega basketball players won convincingly at home (101:68), but SC Derby defeated them in Montenegro (83:62).
