MEGA MOZZART ON SUNDAY AT NOON HOSTS PARTIZAN

On Sunday, April 10, at 12 o’clock, Mega Mozzart will host Partizan NIS in the Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall as part of the last 26th round of the ABA League. In the spectacular match in the first part of the competition, coach Vladimir Jovanovic’s team defeated Partizan in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall with a Smith’s triple in the last seconds of the match, so it is certain that an interesting duel between the two teams awaits us on Sunday.

Tickets for the match were released on Wednesday, April 6, and can be purchased at the main Ticket Vision box offices (Usce Shopping Center, Bilet Centar and Dom omladine Beograda), as well as online via the tickets.rs website. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the match from 10 am at the ticket office of the Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall, at the following prices:

Seats lower level – sectors C, D and E – price 2,000.00 dinars
Stands upper level – price 1,000.00 dinars.

Before the match against Partizan, Mega’s coach Vladimir Jovanovic pointed out that his team must try to stop the opponents’ running and their offensive jump:

– This is a very strong team which, under the leadership of Zeljko Obradovic, as the season draws to a close in both competitions, the ABA League and the Eurocup, significantly raises its form. Partizan is a well-balanced team and a set of great individuals, internationals and domestic players, who have a lot of quality seasons behind them and a large number of points in their hands. They are characterized by exceptional aggression at both ends of the field, especially in defense where all five players are aggressive and try to open counterattacks and score as many easy points as possible. We do not have an easy task ahead of us, first of all we have to answer them on the physical level as far as contact is concerned and in defense tasks. We have to be especially engaged in enclosing our own basket, bearing in mind that they are very aggressive in jumping and that they often play with very high players who are trying to impose a fierce rhythm. If we want to stay in the game, we must first of all physically answer them and try to do the work tasks, above all to stop their running and offensive jump,

Mega Mozzart currently has 9 wins and 15 losses in the ABA league while Partizan NIS has a score of 20-4. Mega and Partizan have met 17 times so far in the regional competition with a score of 14-3 for Partizan, and the last match was in the 13th round of the ABA League this season, when Mega celebrated on the road in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall with 90:93.

Mega’s Forward Nikola Jovic pointed out that his team must first of all be concentrated in defense and with the right energy on the field:

– After a difficult period where we tied several defeats, we managed to return to the winning path with a victory in Zadar. Now we have a very difficult match against a team that is certainly one of the main favorites to win the ABA League. I am sure that the match against Partizan will be very interesting and I think we have shown that we can match the best teams in the league. The key to our game will certainly be in the defense that was a problem for us in the previous period, but if we are concentrated in that segment and with the right energy, I believe that we will have a chance to fight for a positive outcome,
