DJURISIC AND JOVIC DEBUTED FOR NT SERBIA
Tonight, four basketball players from Mega Mozzart were part of their national selections in the qualifications for the 2023 World Cup, and in the end, the Mega trio celebrated win with Serbian national team.
Three Mega players were part of the Serbian national team, which defeated Slovakia in Belgrade with 75:63, with the first minutes in the A team being recorded by Jovic and Djurisic. Nikola Jovic was part of the national team in the last FIBA window, and he made his debut in this game, as he spent a little less than 2 minutes in the game, while Borisa Simanic had 4 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist, 1 block and 1 steal. It should be noted that the fitness and conditioning coach of Mega, Marko Sekulic, was also part of the coaching staff of the national team.
Croatia lost at home to Sweden with 64:70, and Karlo Matkovic made his debut for the first team with 1 rebound in 9 minutes of play, while Matej Rudan was not in the roster.
