JOVANOVIC: “WE PLAYED VERY GOOD FOR THE MOST PART OF THE MATCH WITH OLYMPIACOS, IT IS PRIVILEGE TO BE PART OF THIS EVENT”
Great game of Mega Soccerbet in a friendly match in Piraeus, where they had the advantage for most of the match, but Olympiacos managed to reach the lead in the last quarter and later to win with 78:75 (15:16, 22:29, 21: 18, 20:12).
The humanitarian match against the Greek Euroleague team was played in the “Peace and Friendship” hall as part of the “Monday Night Against Covid-19” event organized by the home team to raise funds to support the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite the defeat by the Greek Euroleague team, Mega’s coach Vladimir Jovanović had many reasons for satisfaction:
– We are very pleased that we were participants in this match and at the same time, a part of the event that has a humanitarian character with the goal of helping people in the fight against the Covid-19 virus. We are also pleased to have had the privilege of playing with one of the best teams in Europe and several top individuals. We played most of the game very well until the last quarter, but in the end we lost the game mostly thanks to the quality and experience of Olympiacos. In the end, I would like to thank the Olympiacos team once again for the great hospitality and wish them a lot of health and happiness in the continuation of the season,
said coach of Mega.
