SIMONOVIC 44TH PICK AT NBA DRAFT AND 12TH DRAFTED PLAYER OF MEGA
In the NBA draft that was held on the night between Wednesday and Thursday via video link, Mega Soccerbet Power Forward Marko Simonovic was selected as the 44th pick by the Chicago Bulls. In this way, Simonovic became the 12th player of Mega to be selected in the NBA draft, ie the 11th player since 2014, according to which only NCAA teams Kentucky and Duke are ahead of Mega.
Marko Simonovic is the only basketball player from the ABA league who was selected in this year’s draft, and it should be noted that Mega has had three players in one NBA draft on three occasions so far, which puts it ahead of all clubs outside the United States.
Marko Simonovic was born on October 15, 1999, he is 212 centimeters tall and plays in positions four and five. He came to Mega last season from the ranks of Olimpija. Even then, he showed great games, as at the time of the ABA league cancellation, he was third on the MVP list in the competition with 16.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, with an average PIR of 18.1.
This season, Simonovic provides even better games, as he is currently second on the ABA’s MVP list, right behind his teammate Filip Petrusev. In the seven games played in the ABA league, Simonovic averaged 16.3 points (41.4% for 3 points) and 9.6 rebounds, with an average PIR of 21. In the meantime, he also became an A member of the Montenegrin national team.
Congratulations Siki!
