MARKOVIC GOOD IN U18 SERBIA LOSS AGAINST GREAT BRITAIN
National team of U18 Serbia recorded the first defeat at the U18 European Championship in Volos, Greece, after losing to Great Britain with 85:87 after overtime in the second round.
From Mega Bemax players, Aleksa Markovic was the most outstanding with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks, after he missed heavy shot for the overtime in the last seconds after offensive rebound. Aleksandar Langovic had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block, while Marko Andric scored 2 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists.
Marko Kljajevic recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in Montenegro’s victory against Russia with 81:79.
On Monday at 18 o’clock, Serbia ends the group stage of the competition with game against Turkey while Montenegro is playing against Lithuania from 15:45. The eighth final will be on the program on Wednesday, July 31.
