Mega is expecting an extremely important match for the playoffs and at the same time, to end a series of 3 defeats. Coach of Mega Bemax Dejan Milojevic pointed out that the Mornar has been providing excellent games lately, but that he believes that Mega can win:
– We play against the Mornar on Saturday, which had excellent lately, where in the last 4 matches they have 3 wins and an unlucky defeat at Partizan. Unlike some past matches, we must not allow big falls in the game, as the Mornar will surely be able to punish that. We have problems with injuries, but with aggressive defense and real energy on the floor, I believe that we can win and continue the fight for placement to the play-of,
Milojevic said.
After 15 rounds of the ABA league, Mega Bemax is 5th with a score of 8-7 while Mornar recorded 6 wins. Mega and Mornar have now met 5 times in the ABA League with a score 4-1 for Mega. In the last match of the two teams played in the 5th round of this season, Mega celebrated in Bar with 80:84.
Mega Bemax player Ognjen Carapic points out that the team has to play with more concentration and energy than in the previous matches:
– We expect a tough game against the Mornar which is a very inconvenient and experienced team in the rise of form. We did not play at the desired level of the last few games and we have to get up, above all in the defense. We need to reduce the number of turnovers in the game and to play with much more concentration and energy. If we succeed in that, I believe that we can win and continue the fight for the play-off,
said Carapic.
In the halftime, short 3×3 games will be organized in which students fromprimary school from the fifth to the eighth grade from the elementary schools from the territory of Sremska Mitrovica will take part, while in the breaks between the quarters we expect half-court shots for TV, a gift from the company Tehnomanija,
