CADETS OF MEGA BEMAX ON SUNDAY FOR THE THIRD PLACE AGAINST BORAC, ETERNAL DERBY IN THE FINALS
On Saturday in the Mega Factory hall in Belgrade, semi-final matches of the Triglav Cadet League of Serbia were played and Crvena zvezda mts and Partizan NIS will fight for the title of the Serbian champion. The final is scheduled for Sunday at 13:00 with live broadcast on TV Arena Sport and Mega Bemax and Borac will play for the third place from 10:30.
Basketball players Mega Bemax did not manage to qualify for the finals of the Triglav Cadet League of Serbia after Partizan NIS was better with 76:85 (15:17, 18:21, 17:29, 26:18). Players of coach Stefan Bulatovic were 20 points in the third quarter but in the finish of the game manage to reduce minus to just 5 points, but Partizan at the end came to a win.
The best in Mega Bemax was Aleksandar Langovic with 33 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks, while in Partizan stood out Dusan Tanaskovic with 22 points and 15 rebounds.
Mega did not start the match because after 4:0 Partizan had series 2:14. However, the players of Mega through Langovic established control, so the first quarter ended with 15:17. In the second quarter, Partizan gradually increased the lead to 13 points, 22:35 in 18 minutes, however, an excellent finish of Mega followed, and the half ended with 33:38.
In the third quarter, the cadets of Mege played very bad, which Partizan used to separate at the big 20 points of difference. The third period ended with 50:67.
In the last quarter Mega Bemax cadets, they started at all or nothing. First and foremost with a great defense they managed to reduce the minus to 9 points at 5 minutes to the end. Partizan answered with a series 0:5 but Mega again managed to reduce to only 5 points difference with a minute to finish, but unfortunately there was no reversal, so Partizan deservedly advanced to the finals.

In the first semifinal match of the Final Tournament of the Triglav Cadet League of Serbia, Crvena Zvezda mts beat Borac with 77:72 (34:14, 15:14, 16:23, 12:21). The best in the ranks of Crvena zvezda mts were Nemanja Popovic with 24 and Bojan Tomasevic with 23 points, while Bosko Bumbic scored 23 points in Borac.
Crvena zvezda’s players have already started to raise lead in middle of the first quarter, so the first period of the game ended with an advantage of 20 points. By half, the Borac managed to stabilize the game and not allow the increase in the result way, so at the half-time was 49:28.
The third quarter was the best period of the Borac game that managed to halve the minus to 10 points, however, their player Bosko Bumbic, because of the injury went out of the game an at that time already had 23 points. By the end of the quarter, Zvezda rises to 14 points, 65:51. Borac did not give up, and managed to reduce the difference to only 4 points to the end, but failed to completely reverse the match, so Crvena zvezda won with 77:72.
