VUKOICIC WON GOLD “BALKANIC NEXT STAR CUP” WITH SERBIA U16, ANDRIC MVP

Coach of Mega Bemax juniors Vlada Vukoicic won the gold medal with Serbia U16 national team at the international tournament “Balkanic next star cup 2017” which was held in Bucharest, Romania. In addition to Vlada Vukoicic as the head coach and Stefan Bulatovic as assistant coach, Mega also had five players in the cadet team, Marko Andric, Mihailo Musikic, Stefan Agoc, Luka Paunovic and Luka Kovacevic.

The cadet team of Serbia recorded all three victories in the tournament, and for the MVP was selected Marko Andric, who was also in the best tournament team, with Mihailo Musikic.

In the first round of the tournament, Serbia beat Hungary with 89:39 (23:10, 22:7, 18:10, 26:12). Musikic 11, Agoc 7, Paunovic 7, Kovacevic 4, Andric 2.

In the second round, Serbia’s cadets were convincing against Bulgaria with 84:42 (16:13, 28:7, 23:11, 17:11). Andric 8, Musikic 8 (6 rebounds), Paunovic 6, Agoc 6 (8 rebounds), Kovacevic 4.

In the third round, host of the tournament Romania was beat with 62:80 (13:18, 15:22, 13:17, 21:23). Agoc 15 (8 rebounds), Andric 9 (8 rebounds, 4 assists), Paunovic 8, Musikic 2 (6 rebounds), Kovacevic.
