GOLDEN JUNIOR MARJANOVIC NEW PLAYER OF MEGA BEMAX

Basketball Club Mega Bemax b has continued to strengthen the team with young and talented players since the contract with the club signed Andrija Marjanovic, now a former junior of Barcelona and a member of the golden generation of juniors of Serbia who became European champions this summer.

Marjanovic, after signing a multi-year contract with Mega, said he is happy to return to Serbia to work in environment that is excellent for young players:

– I think that Mega is among the best clubs in Europe for the development of young players, as shown in the previous years. I believe that I will get a real chance here for my further development and progress, and it is up to me to do my best to justify that chance. I am happy to return to my country to work with my people again,

Marjanovic said, who is already practicing with Mega.

Andrija Marjanovic was born on January 14, 1999 in Nis, he is 203 centimeters tall and plays in positions two and three. He played three years for the youth categories of the Catalan club. He also recorded performances for Serbia U16 national team at the U16 European Championships, in 2014 in Latvia and in 2015 in Lithuania, when he was the best scorer of Serbia with 14.1 points on average.

At the European Championship for players up to 18 years old in Slovakia in 2017, with Serbia he won gold with 6 points and 3 rebounds on average.
