JUNIORS OF MEGA SECOND IN SERBIA
Juniors of Mega Bemax didn’t win the championship for the first time in club’s history since in the final match of the F8 tournament of Roda Junior league of Serbia lost to Crvena zvezda mts with 74:68 (14:25, 25:12, 22:15, 13:16).
Players of Vlada Vukoicic started the game great, had plus 13 in the first quarter, but the team drop the advantaga. Zvezda in the last seconds took the lead at halftime, 39:37.
In the third quarter, Zvezda tied couple of threes and came to the advantage which the players Mege raced to the end of the match. In the middle of last quarter at 61:58 for Crvena zvezda players of Mega missed several chances to equalize the score so in the end the home team took the victory.
The best in the ranks of Mega Bemax were Nikola Miskovic with 18 points and Goga Bitadze with 16. In Zvezda the best player was Stefan Djordjevic with 18 points. Mega Bemax player Nikola Miskovic was named the Most Valuable Player (87 index points) and the best scorer of the final tournament (70 points).
Juniors Mege on this match had great support from the stands, among others, from the players from the first team.
With this tournament ended with a very good season for juniors of Mega where they won second place in Serbia and also second place at the final tournament of juniors Euroleague in Istanbul.
