MILOJEVIC: “SIGNIFICANT STEP TO THE PEACEFULL ENDING OF THE LEAGUE”
Mega Leks in a great way to make an overture before the Korac Cup since within the 22nd round of the ABA league mastered Igokea with 101:84. With this win, Mega has made another step towards survival in the regional competition and will in a good mood travel to Nis where defend the trophy won last season.
One of the best players in the ranks Mege was Nikola Rebic, who in addition had 13 points and 10 assists. At a press conference after the match Rebic said that the Mega controlled the game through the whole match:
– This is a very important win for us, as it will be important and the next 4 matches that lies ahead in the finish of ABA league. In each of these matches will have to go with the maximum energy. I think that against Igokea we controlled the game through the whole match. In the first half we did not play in the best way, but below it all work much better which resulted in big difference. With this victory we are entering a much more relaxed to the Radivoj Korac Cup,
said Nikola Rebic.
Coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic said that the team reacted in the right way:
– I am satisfied with the game. This match was very important for us. My young team reacted in the right way and we won. We introduced Igokea to the rhythm that suits us, a large number of points and a faster game where we play better. We achieved 100 points and made a significant step towards peaceful completion of the league,
