MILOJEVIC: “I HOPE THAT IN THE REST OF THE LEAGUE WE WILL EARN SPORT’S LUCK”

Jovan Novak played a good match in Zagreb since he had 16 points and 7 assists but ultimately lacked the luck to hit a three for the lead in the finish of the mathc. Novak at the press conference after the game said that they should not allow themselves to let Babic play so good:

– Congratulations to the team Cedevita deserved victory. We should not afford Babic to have so many plays. We showed character in the third quarter when we were able to get back in the match. In the end we didn’t solved 3-4 attack that we had to use so that we could won the game, Cedevita deservedly came to win the victory,

said Novak, who was then a reporter’s question about the last attack of Mega answered the following:

– In the last attack was an agreement that we’re going for win, to shot three points, but we made mistake, we did not play attack as we should,

said Novak.

Coach of Mega Lejs Dejan Milojevic said that the Mega lost to many games at one ball this season in the ABA league.

– Congratulations to Cedevita on win. For us, it is evident that we are in the rising form, we play a lot better in the last month, however, we fail to materialize this. We lost to Cedevita on a ball, from Zvezda in the overtime, two teams that are much better than us and against which victory would mean so much in the fight for survival. This season we play finishes bad, this is our sixth game in the ABA league we lost one ball. It is to much for this season that we are fighting not to relegate and I hope that we will earn in rest of the league little luck. I think we managed to make this match hard for Cedevita, we introduced them into our rhythm. This two to three field goal at the end of which we missed, were able to turn the game to our side, but unfortunately didn’t get in. It is obvious that we still have not earned with our work and attitude to win such a big game,

said Milojevic.
