MEGA LEKS STARTED VOYAGE TO THE NEW VICTORIES
Basketball Club Mega Leks in a great way introduced the team and promoted uniform for the new season. Promotion was held in attractive location ,on the beach in Sremska Mitrovica, where players and coaching staff of Mega came straight from the ship which was branded with flags of Mega Leks.
Last season Mega Leks jerseys authentic colors were the real attraction of which was covered by numerous of international media, but there is no doubt that Mega’s sports equipment will cause reactions in the competitive year ahead. For the season 2016/2017 basketball Mega Leks will wear yellow and pink uniforms and with sleeves, as we could see only in the NBA.
With many surprises and gifts, visitors of the promotion of Mega Leks had the opportunity to say “Hi” to, so to say, the old players of Mega and to meet new with traditional taking pictures and sharing autographs to children.
New Mega Leks, whose colors were great fit with the atmosphere on the beach, in the next season will defend the following players:
number 1 – Kostja Mushidi
number 4 – Stefan Simic
number 8 – Radovan Djokovic
number 10 – Ognjen Jaramaz
number 17 – Milos Milisavljevic
“In the next season we have the highest possible ambitions. This means that we will be in all the competitions in which we play try to achieve the best possible result. Also, Mega’s concept is recognizable and well-known and we will not deviate from it in competition year ahead. We will try for players as much as possible to progress and to affirm them in the right way. A lot of energy and effort we will invest in their development, because we are aware that in this way also the club will be able to progress, “
said coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic.
In the next season, the team captain will be again Rade Zagorac, who despite numerous offers decided to stay another year in Mega Leks:
“There is a lot of new players and it takes a little time to introduce them into our system. But we have a great atmosphere in the team, for now everything works great and is going in the best possible way. We have enough time before the game and I’m sure we will fully prepared to welcome the start in the ABA league”.
“I’m very glad Mega Leks as club operates in a slightly different way than the other. This kind of promotion is indeed a very original and I have to say that we players enjoy it and we really had a good time. I am especially pleased that we had opportunity to spend the day with people from Mitrovica who gave us great support”,
concluded Zagorac.
