MEGA CONVINCING AGAINST FMP FOR 1:0, IVANOVIC UNSTOPPABLE

Players of Mega Leks started a series for third place with victory as they were convincing against FMP with 93:77 (19:20, 28:23, 28:21, 18:13). Match against guests from Zeleznik in a great atmosphere in the hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica, was practically solved at the end of the third quarter after a fantastic roll of Ivanovic who in this period scored 17 points. The series is played on three wins and the winner will secure a place in the ABA league next season. The next match is scheduled for Monday, June 6th, from 20 hours in the Hall FMP Zeleznik.

Best in Mega Leks were Nikola Ivanovic with 24 points (17 in the third quarter) and 10 assists for 31 index, Petar Popovic with 16 points and Rade Zagorac with 15 points and 10 rebounds (index 29). In the FMP was the best Ognjen Dobric with 28 points.

In halftime show was held Roda prize draw where the young basketball players were competing in shooting and they were rewarded with Roda packages and T-shirts.

Dejan Milojevic started the match with the following five: Ivanovic, Zagorac, Simeunovcć, Nikolic and Jankovic. Mega has played great defense in the beginning of the match and at 7th minute after the three of Popovic, Mega led with 13: 5. This was followed by a fall in the game as FMP used and with Davidovac points at the end of a quarter came ahead with 19:20.

FMP comes to plus 5 at the beginning of the second quarter but Rasic and Zagorac responded. After a tied game, followed by several threes of Mege (Rasic two), Mega took the lead and with dunk of Veljkovic and Nikolic points under foul arrived to 47:43 at the break.

The second half started with points of Jankovic but Mega came to plus 10, 53:43. FMP again managed to equalize. In the last 5 minutes of the third quarter was followed by a surreal roll of Ivanovic, who with 15 points in a short period (a total of 17 in the third quarter) took Mega to 75:64 at the end of the third period.

In the last 10 minutes Mega arrived to plus 20 and routinely preserve the victory until the final buzzer.

The next match will be on Monday, June 6th, from 20 hours in the Hall FMP Zeleznik. The third match is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8th, from 19 hours in Sremska Mitrovica.
