MAKE NOISE, SUPPORT MEGA

After winning the away match in Zagreb against Cibona, Mega Leks welcomes Ljubljana’s Union Olimpija within the 24th round of ABA league. The match is scheduled for Saturday, February 13th, from 7 pm in the hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica. Mega will against the guests from Ljubljana try to reach the fifth consecutive victory in regional competition and thus to equalize the previous record which was set at the beginning of the season.

The audience in hall “Pinky” for this match will be an additional “equipped” as the company RODA prepared a surprise for them. In the stands will be granted 500 fan percussion by which viewers will be able to support Mega, hopefully, in another triumph in a row. At halftime of the match, basketball players from WBC Lacarac will compete in shooting with obstacles and the company RODA will reward them, in addition to a gift package, with basketballs for their club.

Also, another nice occasion to come to the match will be the birthday of  Nikola Jankovic, who will on Saturday turn 22 years.

Coach Dejan Milojevic said that Mega Leks wants to continue the winning streak:

“We want to continue winning streak. Olimpija is coming, who probably deserved a better placement on the table but unfortunately lost some matches. We can expect a tough match and it will be necessary to repeat the good defense to beat the visitors from Ljubljana”,

Milojevic said.

Mega in the previous round defeated Cibona in Zagreb with 82:89 while Olimpija lost on home court against Cedevita with 84:91. Mega Leks is currently in 4th position in the ABA league table with a score of 16-7 while Union Olimpija is at 8th place with 9 wins and 14 losses. Mega and Olimpija have so far met 5 times in the regional competition and the current score is 3-2 for Olimpija. In the last match played in the 11th round in Ljubljana, Mega celebrated with 89:99.

Nikola Jankovic pointed out that the victory would further strengthened the excellent atmosphere in the team:

“During the week we worked great at training. Although we are expecting Radivoj Korac Cup in Nis, we always go step by step and concentrate on the next match. Victory against Olimpija would further strengthen the confidence and the atmosphere in the team”,

Jankovic said and continued:

“Olimpija is experienced team and concentrated fixtures in the Eurocup definitely influenced them to lose some games in the ABA league. Although we are fresher and in better shape, we will not be fooled by that, and it is necessary to play our distinctive aggressive defensive play and with smart solutions in the attack, to extend our winning streak”.

The game against Olimpija is the day before the “Valentine’s Day”, the company RODA and Mega Leks have prepared a surprise for couples who come to the game. The couples during the first who put on their Twitter a common image with a kiss from the match with the hashtag #malivelikiklub, and whose picture until the end of the first half is the most times retweeted and faved, will receive a Mega Leks scarf and a calendar and sweet package from the RODA. Retweet will be evaluated with 2 points a Fave with 1 point.

Game Mega Leks – Union Olimpija is scheduled for Saturday, 13th of February from 7 pm in the hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica. Tickets for the match are on sale at a price of 200 dinars for stands and 500 dinars for VIP seats. The match will be broadcast live on TV Arena Sport.
