MEGA SMASHED ZADAR
Players from Mega Leks have successfully started the year 2016 in the ABA league since in the inaugural match of 18th round convincingly defeated Zadar with 87:61 (14:18, 17:13, 32:12, 24:18). Winner was decided in a fantastic third quarter (32:12) and the match was marked by Timote Luwawu-Cabarrot with 29 points and 9 rebounds (index 38). For Mega in this match have not played Nikola Jankovic and long-time injured Rade Zagorac.

Dejan Milojevic started the match with the following five: Jaramaz, Luwawu-Cabarrot, Simeunovic, Nikolic and Kaba. Start of the match did not promise well for Mega since Zadar took lead 2:13. Nikolic glossy block moved team and Mega after a fantastic dunk of Luwawu-Cabarrot reduced to 8:13 in the 7th minute. First quarter ended with 14:18.
In the second quarter after points of Luwawu-Cabarrot and three of Savovic, Mega took the first lead 20:18. In the following minutes were played point for point and half completed accordingly, 31:31.
In the third quarter Mega completely smashed game of Zadar and with a series of 17: 1 came to plus 17, 54:37. In that period we saw thrilling play like dunks of Luwawu-Cabarrot and new blocks from Nikolic. The result before the last 10 minutes was 63:43.
The last quarter was marked by Luwawu-Cabarrot with a series of points with which Mega arrived to plus 30 (79:49), while in finish coach Dejan Milojevic provided a chance to players who have not played a lot in the past. The match ended with a score of 87:61.
After the 18th round, Mega has a record of 12 wins and 6 losses and currently holds fourth position in the standings, while Zadar remained at 7 wins and 11 losses. In the next round on January 11th from 9 pm Mega Leks plays away against Igokea.
