MEGA WITHOUT REVERSAL IN PODGORICA!
Players from Mega Leks in the 3rd round of ABA league suffered defeat in Podgorica against Buducnost with 71:56 (28:12, 19:19, 8:14, 16:11). Mega trailed 23 points during the match but at the beginning of the last quarter managed to reduce difference to just 4 points. Unfortunately, then they ran out of strenght for a total change and the home team deservedly won. Ivanovic, Zagorac and Kaba didn’t play because of injuries.
Mega Leks started the match well and after 4 minutes led 5:8 with two triples from Luwawu-Cabarrot. From that moment, Buducnost took control of the match with an excellent three-point shot while Mega has entered into a series of turnovers. Buducnost end the first quarter with 28:12.
Neither the second quarter has not started well and Buducnost had plus 23, 35:12. After the time-out of Milojevic, Mega manages to launch the attack reduced to 16 points difference, 47:31.
In the third quarter, Jaramaz scored several points and Mega was down to 11 points. There was a tied period in game and then in the 29th minute Mega Leks managed to put down the difference to single digits, 9 and the last 10 minutes with 55:45 to go.
Nikolic opened the last period of the three and then Jaramaz layup reduced to 5 differences. Luwawu hit one free throw but after more than 5 minutes without a score, Buducnost hit 3 triples and returns a double-digit lead, 66:53. By the end of the match, players of Mega did not have the power to reverse the game and finished with 71:56.
